Key Strategies for Problem & Solution

🎯 Be Specific Don’t list 5 different problems. Pick 1 or 2 major causes and expand on them deeply.
🔗 Logical Links Your solutions must directly fix the exact problems you identified in the previous paragraph.
🧠 Realistic Ideas Suggest practical solutions (e.g., government policy, education) rather than extreme or impossible ones.
🏗️ Expected Results When proposing a solution, briefly state what the positive result or outcome would be.

How to Approach the Prompt

This essay is highly logical. You act as an analyst breaking down an issue into two distinct halves.

The Causes (Why is this happening?)

  • Identify the root cause of the trend.
  • Is it due to technology? Human behavior? Government neglect?
  • Provide a real-world example of this cause in action.

The Solutions (How do we fix it?)

  • Who is responsible for the fix? (Individuals, corporations, governments?)
  • What specific action needs to be taken?
  • How will this action eliminate the cause you mentioned?

The Perfect 4-Paragraph Structure

1. Introduction

  • Sentence 1: Paraphrase the problem from the prompt.
  • Sentence 2: Outline sentence (This essay will discuss the main causes and propose solutions).

2. Body Paragraph 1 (Causes)

  • Topic Sentence: State the primary cause of the problem.
  • Explanation: Explain how/why this leads to the issue.
  • Example: Give a specific example.

3. Body Paragraph 2 (Solutions)

  • Topic Sentence: Introduce a viable solution.
  • Explanation: Explain exactly how the solution would work.
  • Result: State the expected positive outcome.

4. Conclusion
